Paellas Restaurant: Reviews & Ratings
My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate my birthday and it was absolutely perfect. What a gem ! The food was incredible, the service was so stellar and friendly and fun. Chef Neil is the best and he loves what he does. I can’t wait to come back and try everything on the menu . We had the mushroom tapas, the soup, the Chilean sea bass , the seafood paella and the special almond croissant desert was out of the world. I highly recommend the soup . And they even carry an alcohol free beer which I greatly appreciate
Our favorite restaurant in town. Very high quality food with excellent service. No wait on weekdays, while restaurants across the street had a 40-min wait line. Good price too, a family of 4 spent $125 for dinner.
Hands down the best meal and best service I have had in winter park or all of grand county. Ceviche was excellent, sea bass was perfectly cooked. Rice was delicious. Good wine. Not cheap, but the quality was there. Indoor dining area is a nice space. Small patio in the back.
Great place for some unique food that I haven't seen anywhere else in Colorado. The Paella tastes just like I remember from when I had it in Barcelona.
We chose Paellas to introduce variety to our dining out experiences during my girlfriend's birthday weekend. We were pleasantly surprised to find this quaint, cozy, locals restaurant that breaks away from conventional mountain town fare. The staff were like long lost friends and the tapas were akin to Barcelona, Spain. We enjoyed a lovely crimini mushroom cream soup that was delightful and hearty, patatas bravas that rival some of the best in Spain, and a seasoned mushroom plate that we were talking about for days. Add the 2018 Rioja, well-appointed, unpretentious dining experience and you've found a gem. We will be back.
This is definitely 5 stars. The food and service here are fantastic and the drinks are fantastic too! The ambiance is romantic and comfortable. I took my wife for our anniversary. I started with a Margarita and my wife had a Spanish drink called Caipirina. Both were great. They bring warm bread with olive oil and pepper and a bowl of olives in olive oil. I had the most amazing Chilean Sea Bass and my wife had the Paella de Mariscos. We both loved our dishes. The Sea Bass was buttery and cooked to perfection. We then had a Pina Colorado which was delicious and the fresh mint blended in the drink was delicious. The Chef came by to check on us and also offered a shot on the house of a Spanish liquor that tasted spicy and warm. We finished with Flan which was hearty and delicious. Our waiter was excellent and the entire staff was very helpful. We had a great experience! Highly recommend!
Great service and the food was good too. The chips were hot and crispy. We order a plate of chicken and fish and both tasted great. Only issue was that they added a lot of mushrooms on the fish which was just too much. We ordered flan for dessert but that was little too cold. Overall definitely a good place to try out and I’d recommend this.
What an unexpected culinary experience in the Winter Park area. Our server, Miguel, did a fantastic job with everything, including his recommendations of Lomito Cobanero and Robalo a las Truffas entrees, which were both incredible. The filet had an amazing blend of spicy and savory while the sea bass was cooked to perfection. Our daughter ordered the Paella de Mariscos which had a generous array of seafood and flavor. Dinner alone deserved this rating, but the highlight was the dessert. Enrique, whom I believe is the manager, helped along with Miguel in many ways, but his suggestion of their Panna Cotta paired with a sipping shot of Licor 43 was out of this world. We are still talking about our wonderful time there a day later. To the chefs, especially in a small resort town, hats off. Well done.

The highlight, naturally, is their seafood paella—rich, well-seasoned, and evocative of the sun-soaked coasts of Barcelona.
